Ram Narayan Awasthi And Another v. The State Of Telangana And Another
HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3555 of 2019 ORDER:
1.
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking early disposal of C.C.No.493 of 2016 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.
2.
The grievance of the petitioners appears to be that though the cognizance was taken in the year 2016 till date no trial has been commenced. The petitioners submit that they are 71 and 61 years old and they are suffering from old age ailments and they are not able to attend the Court on each and every adjournment. Hence, the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the C.C. at the earliest.
3.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, to dispose of C.C.No.493 of 2016 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, without giving unnecessary adjournments.
4.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
