THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.10945 OF 2018 O R D E R :

Petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not conducting enquiry in respect of Service Connection No.340205062 category L-II(2B) basing on the representations dated 26.08.2017 and 26.12.2017 and by giving opportunity to the petitioners in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 and Rules framed thereunder.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on either side concede that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order dated 15.04.2019 in W.P.No.7785 of 2019.

In view of the same and for the reasons alike, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to provide reconnection of power supply to the petitioners, as the petitioners have paid the entire demanded amount and the same shall be subject to the decision made under Section 154 of the Act, 2003. Reconnection and continuous supply of electricity depends on compliance of all other requirements. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
