Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that as the fair price shop dealership is not cancelled or suspended, the essential commodities cannot be with held and petitioner cannot be prevented from operating the fair price shop. 3.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader produced copy of the proceedings Dated Nil March, 2019 suspending the authorization issued to the petitioner's fair price shop.

Since the fair price shop authorization is already suspended, the question of granting essential commodities to the petitioner's shop does not arise. Therefore, the prayer sought in the writ petition cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy, if so advised, against the order of suspension of authorization of fair price shop dealership. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
