When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner is challenging the orders of transfer dated 07.08.2004 and this Hon'ble Court was pleased to grant interim suspension on 25.08.2004 and the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during the pendency of Writ Petition. In view of the retirement of the petitioner, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive.

In view of the same, Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 3.
