The petitioner challenges the order of suspension, dated 20.12.2016, passed by the respondent corporation. 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation, on instructions, submits that the enquiry officer has submitted his report on 15.02.2017, that comments were invited from the petitioner on the report of the enquiry officer and that the matter is at the stage of issue of second show cause notice. He further submits that if four weeks time is granted, the entire process will be completed.

Having regard to the above submissions of the learned standing counsel, the learned counsel for the petitioner agrees for disposal of the writ petition by fixing the time limit for completion of the disciplinary proceedings.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of, directing the third respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
