ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the inaction of the respondents in not paying the worked period salary of sweeper to the petitioner from 1/10/2015 to 31/3/2019 and subjecting for exploitative enslavement due to the helpless condition poverty other disabilities as highly illegal, totally arbitrary, unfair, unjust against the law and principles of natural justice on the part of the respondents and prays to direct the respondents herein to pay worked period salary of the petitioner as Scavenger from time to time with arrears from 1/10/2015 to 31/3/2019 by allowing him to discharge his duty forthwith and also award exorbitant costs against respondents herein and pass such order or orders in the interest of justice." Heard Sri Ch.Ganesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is discharging his duties to the best satisfaction of his superiors, but the respondents are not paying the salary for the service rendered by him from 01.10.2015 to till date. Though the Head Master of the School concerned where the petitioner is working has recommended his case to the respondents vide letters dated

14.8.2018, 2.10.2018 and 3.4.2019, so far, no orders have been passed.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that respondents 1 and 2 be directed to consider the recommendations made by the Head Master of the School for payment of salary to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that respondents 1 and 2 would consider the recommendations made by the Head Master of the school and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law. Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider the recommendations made by the Head Master of the School for payment of salary to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
