The only grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the application of the petitioner dated 23.08.2017 for grant of arms license is not being considered and dispose of by the third respondent. 2.

Heard both sides.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the application dated 23.08.2017 in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
