THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D.NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.8435 of 2015 O R D E R:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners / accused No.1 to 3 under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking quashment of proceedings in FIR in Crime No.131 of of Station House Officer, Shahinayathgunj Police Station, registered for the offence under Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 02.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted a copy of Letter dated 21.12.2022 wherein the Sub-Inspector of Police, Shahinayathgunj Police Station mentioned that the case has been referred as 'Lack of Evidence' on 21.03.2017. The same is recorded. 04.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been

defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous. 05.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications, if any, shall stand closed.
