HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1972 of 2016 ORDER:

Questioning the order dated 18.07.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1565 of 2016 in Crime No.168 of 2016 on the file of the VII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, City Criminal Courts, Hyderabad, wherein the trial Court while releasing gold ornaments weighing 185 grams directed the petitioner to execute a bond for Rs.5,00,000/- and to furnish two sureties for a sum of Rs.20,000/- each. It is to be noted that the petitioner herein is not challenging the condition of executing personal bond of Rs.5,00,000/- but only seeking reduction of surety amount as the petitioner who is aged about 80 years is not able to secure two sureties for a sum of Rs.20,000/- each. I am afraid the said request cannot be accepted. The trial Court was quite liberal in directing the petitioner to executed a personal bond for Rs.

5,00,000/- with two sureties for a sum of Rs.20,000/- each only when the gold ornaments are weighing about 185 grams. Hence, the order under challenge warrants no interference. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
