HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.11173 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The case of the petitioner is that his father died on 04.08.1989 while working as Conductor in the respondent Corporation and he made an application on 10.04.2017 to the respondent Corporation seeking compassionate appointment, to which, the respondent Corporation issued proceedings dated 15.04.2017 asking the petitioner to furnish ID card of the petitioner's father, enabling them to trace out the record available. Thereafter, the petitioner issued notice dated 20.01.2018 stating that copy of the Identity card is not available with him, however, produced the following documents for their consideration.

a) Receipt in proof of receiving Rs.500/- towards funeral expenses.

b) Letter dated 05.05.1989 submitted by STI to the DM, Achampet for arrangement of funeral expenses of petitioner's father.

c) Pay Slip of petitioner's father pertain to January, d) Declaration of family member as on 15.11.1988 for inter-state bus pass.

Inspite of furnishing the aforesaid information by the petitioner, the respondents have not taken any action, till date. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Corporation submits that the application dated

10.04.2017 referred to in the proceedings dated 15.04.2017 issued by the respondent Corporation is not an application of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment; and that in the said application the petitioner only sought certain information from the department. He also produced copy of the said application dated 10.04.2017. He further submits that petitioner's applications for compassionate appointment dated 10.08.2017 and 30.06.2017 are not yet considered and they will pass necessary orders in the said applications. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.08.2017 and 30.06.2017, seeking compassionate appointment, in accordance with law. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed. _______________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY, J 04.04.2018 t k.
