HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2464 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in CC No. 126 of 2012 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Peddapalli, Karimnagar District, registered for the offences under Sections 3 & 4 of Gaming Act, 1974. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 19.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Peddapalli Police Station, Karimnagar District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 25.7.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 126 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
