THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.12205 OF 2012 DATED 23RD JUNE, 2015 Between:

Katta Yadhamma .. Petitioner and The State of Andhra Pradesh, through Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad and others .. Respondents

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.12205 OF 2012

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were not taking action against the fourth and fifth respondents under the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, despite her complaint dated 08.11.2011.

The Sub-Inspector of Police, Narsingi Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, furnished written instructions dated 22.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that no complaint had been received from the petitioner against the unofficial respondents. He further stated that upon enquiry, it came to light that the fourth and fifth respondents, against whom the petitioner had sought action, had expired. Death certificates were stated to have been obtained to that effect.

In that view of the matter, the grievance of the petitioner against the unofficial respondents no longer survives. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
