HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT & HON'BLE DR JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER W.P. No. 376 of 2017 O R D E R:- (ORAL) (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Suresh Kumar Kait) This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

" ....to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to and connected with the order dated 18.03.2016 passed by the Tribunal in O.A.No. 1119 of 2016 whereby the Tribunal interdicted the final seniority list of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-I working in Zone-II interim order at the admission stage and quash or set aside the same, as being erroneous, incorrect, irrational, contrary to the provisions of Rule-33 of the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 and consequently hold that the petitioner is entitled to be promoted as Assistant B.C. Welfare Officer based ont eh position assigned to him in the final seniority list of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-I issued in Rc.No.E/ 3909/ 2015, dated 29.02.2016 by the 1st respondent with benefits which are incidental and ancillary thereto."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the 5th respondent have jointly agreed and submitted that the Tribunal may be directed to dispose of the O.A., however till then, Status Quo may be granted qua the petitioner's services. In view of the above submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 6th respondent - Tribunal to dispose of O.A.No. 1119 of 2016 on merits, as early as possible preferably not later than three

SKK,J & Dr.SA,J WP_376_2017 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving both the parties an opportunity of being heard. Till then, both the parties are directed to maintain Status Quo obtaining as on today in respect of services of the petitioner. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
