THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.5603 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard Sri V.V.N.Narasimham, , learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri P. Anand Seshu, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner constructed a building and applied for electricity service connection to the said building. On the recommendation made by the 3rd respondent, the 2nd respondent accorded administrative sanction for the supply of power on 16.08.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he is ready to pay the requisite amount, the power supply was not given to the building and the respondents have not been receiving the amount from him.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel would submit that the petitioner has to obtain necessary challan and remit the required amount.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel, the respondents are directed to receive the D.D. submitted by the petitioner for the requisite amount and sanction the power supply in terms of the administrative sanction, dated 16.08.2014 accorded by the 2nd respondent.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
