THE HONOURABLE DR.JUSTICE G.RADHA RANI WRIT PETITION No.18536 OF 2022 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for the respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that though the petitioner has submitted representation/ letter on 24.11.2021 to respondent No.3 duly enclosing all necessary approvals, requesting to grant quarry lease, no orders are passed thereon till date. Hence, she seeks a direction to respondent No.3 to dispose of the said representation, at the earliest.
The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that due to various administrative exigencies and also the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the representation submitted by the petitioner could not be considered and seeks some time for passing necessary orders on the said representations. In view of the above made submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3-Deputy Director of Mines and Geology to consider the representation/ letter submitted by the petitioner on 24.11.
receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that respondent No.3 before passing any orders shall put the petitioner on notice and afford him an opportunity of hearing. A copy of the order passed by the respondent No.3 shall be communicated to the petitioner. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
