THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11126 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is with regard to inaction of the respondents in registering a crime pursuant to the report, dated 22.03.2018, lodged by the petitioner with the 4th respondent i.e., Station House Officer, Veeravasaram Police Station, West Godavari District.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.N.Somendra Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home, on oral instructions, would submit that a case in Crime No.70 of 2018 was registered, on 03.04.2018, by the Station House Officer, Veeravasaram Police Station, West Godavari District, for the offences punishable under Sections 354-B, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. He produced a copy of the said F.I.R. for perusal of the Court.

In that view of the matter, no cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

In the result, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
