Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims that lands admeasuring Ac.0.85 cents in Survey No.318-12, Acs.2.16 cents in Survey No.319-1 and Acs.3.57 cents in Survey 390-2A1 of Kondakinda Agraharam Village, Bukkarayasamudram Village and Mandal, Anantapur District, were private patta lands. While so, the said lands are now included in the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A of the Indian Registration Act, 1908 (for short, 'the Act'), treating the lands as assigned lands. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner filed representation dated 21.09.2017 before the Tahsildar, Bukkarayasamudram Mandal, and further representation dated 07.02.2018 to the District Collector, Anantapur District. Alleging inaction on the said representations, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.

Since the petitioner has already submitted representations for deletion of the lands, referred to above, from the list of prohibited properties under Section 22-A(1)(a) of the Act, the Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. 4.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the District Collector, Ananatapur District, to examine the claim of the petitioner for exclusion of the subject properties from the list of prohibited properties and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons in support of his decision and

communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
