Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

According to petitioner, land to an extent of Ac.1.02 cents in Survey No.452-8 of Writers Satram Village, Chillakur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District, was purchased by her and her name was mutated in the revenue records. While so, a person, by name, Gamallapalli Gopalaiah manipulated the Tahsildar, Chillakur Mandal, who corrected the revenue records behind the back of the petitioner by entering his name. Aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudur Revenue Division, SPSR Nellore District, on 17.04.2017. Alleging inaction on the said appeal, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.

Since appeal is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, the Court would not express any opinion on the rival claims.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudur Revenue Division, SPSR Nellore District, to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and after affording due opportunity to the rival parties, pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
