THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.15571 of 2010 ORDER:
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of AICTE in not processing the application of the petitioners for Part-B verification and rejecting the application on 10.03.2010 at Part-A stage on the ground that the land use/conversion certificate issued by the GHMC and produced by the petitioners was not accepted by the Scrutiny Committee. As per the record of the Court, on 01.02.2011 when the matter was taken up there was no representation from the petitioners. But, however, the
learned Standing Counsel for AICTE submitted the proposal of the petitioners for establishing the technical institute was rejected by AICTE by order dated 05.08.2010 i.e., during the pendency of the Writ Petition. Now when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel for AICTE submits that new Regulations have come into force with effect from 10.12.2010. In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted in the present Writ Petition, but it is open to the petitioners to apply afresh in accordance with law, if the petitioners are so interested. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
