HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.2544 of 2015 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner - A.1, under Section 438 Cr.P.C., seeking release in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.37 of 2015 of Vikarabad Police Station, Ranga Reddy District registered for an offence punishable under Section 20(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

Earlier, A.2 and A.3 in Crime No.37 of 2015, approached this Court vide Crl.P.No.1784 of 2015, wherein this Court while rejecting their request for grant of anticipatory bail directed them to appear before the concerned Magistrate, and make an application, after giving prior notice to the Public Prosecutor, in which event, it was directed to be dealt with on merits in accordance with law. Since the petitioner - A.1 also stands on the same footing as that of A.2 and A.3, his request for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected. However, the petitioner - A.1 shall appear before the concerned Court and make an application before the appropriate Court after giving prior notice to the Public Prosecutor, in which event, the same shall be dealt with on its own merits in accordance with law.

The Criminal Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
