Vide present writ petition, the petitioners seek direction thereby declaring the respondents to make payment for compensation for the acquired land admeasuring Ac.1.58 cents in Survey No.22/P, Ac.1.57 cents in Survey No.25/2P, Ac.0.04 cents in Survey No.31/1P, Ac.0.89 cents in Survey No.32/2P, Ac.2.68 cents in Survey No.17/P, Ac.4.80 cents in Survey No.36/1P and Ac.2.94 cents in Survey No.37/P in total Ac.14.50 cents of Chinthalagudem Village for construction of wit for fore shore area as well as wit for bund portion of Pogonda Reservoir across Byneru River, Chintalagudem Village, Buttaigudem Mandal, West Godavari District under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 or under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the Act).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that though the petitioners sent legal notice/representation on 23.11.2015 through their advocate about the issue raised in the writ petition, no steps have been taken by the respondents till now. Learned counsel for the respondents appeared on advance notice submitted that if the land of the petitioners acquired and compensation is not granted, the same will be decided within four weeks from today as per law.

Keeping in view the averments made in the writ petition and submissions of learned counsel for the petitioners, I hereby direct respondents 2 to 5 to take steps on the legal notice/representation dated 23.11.2015 of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, as per law within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this

order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
