Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 4 and perused the material on record. 2.
Petitioner alleges that the 5th respondent, who is his neighbour dug a borewell without obtaining any permission from the authorities concerned and on account of the same, bore-well of the petitioner is dried up. However, no material is placed before the Court that the petitioner has an existing bore-well and the same is registered as required by Section 8 of A.P. Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002 (Act 10/02) (for short 'WALTA Act'.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Respondents 1 to 4 to verify the registration said to have been made by the petitioner in accordance with WALTA Act, 2002 in respect of the existing bore-well of the petitioner and also consider the objections made by the petitioner in respect of the bore-well dug by 5th respondent and pass appropriate orders after affording due opportunity to the parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
