This petition is filed by the petitioner-A2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against her in Crime No.14 of 2016 on the file of the Guntakal I Town Police Station, Anantapur District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A and 304-B IPC.
Heard and perused the material available on record. It is the case of the petitioner that she has nothing to do with the matrimonial life of her son-A1 and the deceased and in fact, she is living with her another son in a different house in the same colony and she is suffering from old age ailments.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings in the above crime.
At this stage, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to pendency of the above crime, the petitioner apprehends arrest.
In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to move an application for grant of anticipatory bail before the Sessions Judge concerned on the grounds raised in this petition. On such application being filed, the learned Sessions Judge concerned is directed to consider the same in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
