11.06.2025 JSR, J Transferred to i/o folder, before corrections, if any I.A.No.1 of 2025 This application is filed under Section 528 read with 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 by the petitioner/accused No.1 seeking extension of time to surrender before the Station House Officer, Dundigal Police Station, Cyberabad.
No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Mr. Syed Yasar Mamoon, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentState. According to the averments made in the affidavit, this Court granted anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner on 01.05.2025 and directed him to surrender before the Station House Officer, Dundigal Police Station, Cyberabad, MedchalMalkajgiri District, on or before 06.05.2025 and on such surrender, the Station House Officer shall release the petitioner/accused No.1 on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties for the like sum each. However, due to financial constraints, the petitioner could not surrender before the Station House Officer within the time stipulated by this Court. Unless the above
said condition is relaxed, the petitioner will be put to irreparable loss and great hardship.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has not opposed the same.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the application, the petitioner/accused No.1 is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Dundigal Police Station, Cyberabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, on or before 19.06.2025. The other conditions remain unaltered except above.
With the above modification, I.A.No.1 of 2025 is ordered.
