THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.1894 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
The petitioner, who is the wife of a Freedom Fighter, states that she is getting the Family Pension. She, however, sought allotment of house site in pursuance of the Policy of the Government under G.O.Ms.No.185, dated 11.03.1997.
Her representation, dated 10.10.2015, to the District Collector, Karimnagar District, the 2nd respondent, is stated to be still pending and no decision is taken so far. The petitioner states that under the said G.O., she is entitled to allotment of house site.
Since the representation of the petitioner, referred to above, is pending with the 2nd respondent, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the same and take appropriate decision, expeditiously keeping in view that the petitioner is aged 82 years and the benefit under the aforesaid G.O., if available to her, must be extended as early as possible.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
