THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11117 of 2018 ORDER:
In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the petitioner is in respect of noncompletion of investigation into case in Crime No.333 of 2016, which was registered, on 10.12.2016, on the file of the Station House Officer, Lalapeta Police Station, Lalapeta, Guntur/3rd respondent, and non-filing of charge sheet after completion of the investigation into the afore-stated crime.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.V.R.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to complete the investigation within a period of four (04) weeks and the Investigating Officer is directed to file a final report, either way, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader, on oral instructions, would submit that the investigation has almost reached a final stage and that the Investigating Officer would file the final report, as early as possible, on conclusion of investigation.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation into the afore-stated crime, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably
MSRM, J W.P.No.11117 of 2018 within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a final report, either way, in strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
