HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE T.RAJANI Writ Petition No.30946 of 2017 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioner who applied for admission to Under Graduate Medical Courses for the current academic year, under the 0.5% quota reserved for sports persons, has come up with the above writ petition questioning his non-allotment.

2. Heard Mr. Lakkadi Dayaker Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. M.V.S. Prasad, learned counsel, takes notice for the 4th respondent/Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the 5th respondent/University.

3. The admissions to all medical courses were over on 31-8-2017. Only one college was permitted by the Supreme Court to admit students up to 05-9-2017. This writ petition was filed only on 12-9-2017. No Court can direct the grant of admission to any student beyond the cut-off date stipulated by the Supreme Court. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as no relief can be granted to the petitioner even if the petitioner has a genuine case. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. ___________________________ V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN, J.
