THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11151 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only request of the petitioner is with regard to completion of investigation into the case in Crime No.91 of 2018, registered, on 29.03.2018, on the file of Kothapeta Police Station, Guntur District. 2.

I have heard the submissions of Sri N.V.R.Amarnath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with procedure established by law, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home would submit that the crime is registered recently and investigation is taken up and that the Investigating Officer would do the needful in the matter. 5.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation and file a final report, by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
