THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.2368 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings initiated against the petitioners/A-3 and A-4 in C.C.No.1218 of 2015 pending on the file of II Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B. Nagar, arising out of Crime No.746 of 2015 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 520 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/A-3 and A-4 and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.

After arguing for sometime, the learned counsel for the petitioners, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In any event, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioners/A-3 and A-4 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is essentially required by the Court and the petitioners shall be properly represented by their counsel.

5. With the above observation, this criminal petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
