This Writ Petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not registering a crime having received the complaint on 26.06.2019, which was received by the 4th respondent on 28.06.2019, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that after receipt of complaint from the petitioner on 28.06.2019, the police authorities have made GD entry on 28.06.2019 and that since the complaint does not disclose any offence, the same was informed to the petitioner by way of issuing notice dated 03.07.2019 through registered post. A copy of said notice is also enclosed with written instructions.
Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. If still the petitioner is aggrieved, he can avail other remedies available under law. There shall be no order as to costs.
