SHANKAR NARAYANA L.A.A.S No. 423 of 2008 & Cross Objections SR No.13845 of 2013 in LAAS No.423 of 2008 COMMON JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice G. Chandraiah) Aggrieved by the order and decree dated 22.12.2006 in O.P.No.14 of 2006 on the file of the Senior Civil Judge at Peddapalli (for short, 'the reference Court'), the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Karimnagar, filed the instant appeal. The respondents-claimants filed Cross Objections, dissatisfied with the quantum of compensation granted by the reference Court.

2. Today, both the learned counsel submit that this Court, by order dated 12.11.2014, referred the matter to Lok Adalat, and the Lok Adalat passed Award on 14.02.2015, and hence no further orders are necessary. A copy of the Lok Adalat Award dated 14.02.2015 is placed on record.

3. Accordingly, the appeal as well as the Cross Objections are disposed of in terms of Lok Adalat Award dated 14.02.2015. If any of the respondents is no more and his/her legal representatives are yet to be brought on record, the same can be done before the reference Court.

No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
