THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.38136 of 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioners in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 proposing to select the applicants for grant of prior clearance for establishment of Bar and further proceedings to further 2-B Bar licence in favour of the selected applicants without giving the opportunity of hearing to the petitioners objections dated 2011-2015, which is pending before the 2nd respondent, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to hear the petitioners claim and objections dated 20-11-2015, before proceedings to grant prior clearance under Rule 5(1) for grant of in respect of 2-B Bar licence of Shadnagar, Farooqnagar mandal, Mahaboobnagar District, to the other applicants and further hear the objections of the petitioners by giving opportunity to the petitioners, in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise placed before the Court copies of two proceedings dated 30.12.2015 issued by the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Telangana, granting prior clearance to one P. Raghavender Rao and one A. Srinivas. In the light of this subsequent development, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration on merits. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to work out their remedies against the subsequent cause of action, if so advised, in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
