Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

According to the petitioner, she is the owner of land to an extent of Ac.4.92 cents in Sy.No.676/2 of Jangareddygudem Village and her name is reflected in the revenue records; pattadar pass books and title deeds were also issued. However, on recent verification in the online revenue records, it was found that the extent of land is reduced to Ac.3.59 cents. Alleging illegal reduction of extent of land, application was filed before the Tahsildar, Jangareddygudem, West Godavari District. In response to the said application notice was issued on 28.11.2017. However, proceedings were not finalized. Alleging inaction on the said application, this writ petition is filed.

A copy of the notice issued by the Tahsildar, is enclosed at Page No.17 as Ex.P.4. If that is so, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Tahsildar is directed to finalize the issue after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the 6th respondent or any other person who is likely to be affected, if the exercise undertaken by the Tahsildar results in passing of order in favour of petitioner and would be affecting such persons. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
