HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.6516 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioner's representation dt.08.12.2016 for grant of pattadar pass book and title deeds by mutating the name of the petitioner in revenue records.

Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submits that the petitioner has not made application in Form 6A as prescribed under the A.P. Rights in lands and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act') with supporting documents.

Since the petitioner purchased the subject land through an unregistered sale deed, it is for the petitioner to first get the document validated under the provisions of the Act and then only can seek for grant of Pattadar Pass Books and Title Deeds.

In view of the same, it is open for the petitioner to seek validation of the unregistered document by filing necessary application before the 4th respondent and on such application being filed by the petitioner, the 4th respondent shall dispose of the same in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the affected parties. 6.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 7.

Consequently miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
