HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.20606 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard.

Against the endorsement issued by the 4th respondent on 06-01-2015, the petitioner has filed an appeal under Rule 9 of A.P. (Agriculture Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Rules, 2006 and the said appeal is stated to be pending before the 2nd respondent and the petitioner seeks early disposal of the said appeal.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue has received instructions and stated that the petitioner's appeal is pending with the 2nd respondent. Since the order of the 4th respondent directing the petitioner to pay balance amount of land conversion @ Rs.96,80,000/- per acre instead of Rs.5,00,000/- per acre, the petitioner complains of huge difference of amount by the endorsement of the 4th respondent, for which the petitioner has to necessarily seek redressal from the 2nd respondent. Keeping in view the fact that the appeal is filed as early as on 0903-2015, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to fix the date of hearing of the appeal and decide the same in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
