ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of order, dated 04.11.2015, in Writ Petition No.35778 of 2015.

By the said order, this Court while disposing of the said Writ Petition directed the respondent to

consider the representations of the petitioner for payment of bills relating to the contract works and communicate the decision thereof to the latter within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The respondent filed an affidavit, wherein he has, inter alia, stated that on verification of the representation of the petitioner, the same was rejected in view of non-supply of details relating to individual remittances in the respective EPF and ESI accounts and non-providing of the account numbers.

It is further stated that the order of rejection was passed on 13.5.2016 and the same was communicated to the petitioner on 15.5.2016 by registered post with acknowledgment due.

At the hearing, Mr. Venkat Reddy Thipparth, learned counsel for the petitioner, has admitted that his client has received the said order copy and that the petitioner may be permitted to avail appropriate legal remedies in order to question the same.

In the light of the above facts, the Contempt Case is closed with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate legal remedies, if he feels aggrieved by the rejection order, dated 13.5.2016.
