Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology. The alleged inaction on the part of the second respondent, in disposing of the application, dated 07.11.2014, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, for transfer of quarry lease to an extent of Ac.3.000 Hectors in Sy.No.269, situated at Beedupalli village, Puttaparthy mandal, Ananthapur District, is under challenge in the present Writ Petition. Since the application of the petitioner herein is pending consideration, since 07.11.

2014, and taking into consideration the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directing the second respondent herein to consider the application, dated 07.11.2014, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
