O R D E R

This writ petition was filed assailing the inaction on the part of the police authorities upon the petitioner's complaint dated 22.04.2011. The said complaint was made against respondents 3 to 6 herein.

The Station House Officer, Tripurantakam Police Station, Prakasam District, furnished written instructions dated 01.07.2011 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the petitioner's complaint, an enquiry was undertaken, which revealed that the offence of rape had not been committed on the petitioner and that there was a land dispute pending between the parties. Opining that the dispute was purely a civil dispute and no action was warranted on the petitioner's complaint, a report was submitted to the Superintendent of Police, Prakasam District.

In the light of the decision taken by the police authorities, it is for the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law, if she is aggrieved thereby. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand dismissed.
