Petitioner claims that her husband was assigned Ac.0-2 cents of house site patta in the year 1982-83 in land bearing D.No.240/1, Ravela Village, Tadikonda Mandal, Guntur District, Thereafter he constructed a thatched house and as the same was damaged, he constructed it with zinc sheet roof and the Gram Panchayat also allotted House No.1-86 and obtained electricity supply connection. After the death of her husband she is now in possession and paying property tax and now the respondents are trying to dispossess the petitioner.

Except for contending that assignment was made in the year 1982-83 in favour of husband of the petitioner and filing of some electricity bills, Gram panchayat receipts, no other documents are placed on record to show that assignment was granted and the property on which petitioner claims payment of electricity charges and property tax charges pertains to the so called assigned property. Therefore, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and the same is liable to be dismissed. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed in limini, leaving it open to the petitioner to submit appropriate application to the Tahsildar, Tadikonda Mandal, Guntur District, by enclosing all the documents in support of her claim of so called assignment. It is needless to observe that as and when such application is made,

- 3 - the Tahsildar shall examine the claim and furnish suitable reply, as warranted by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
