THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.11416 of 2018 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the only grievance of the writ petitioner is with regard to non-completion of the investigation into case in Crime No.76 of 2017, which was registered, on 14.04.2017, and non-filing of the charge sheet/final report in the said crime by the Investigating Officer.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Surya Balu Mahendra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to expedite the investigation and file a final report, either way, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that not only this crime, but two other crimes are also registered and that the investigations are going on into all the three crimes including the present crime and that as soon as the investigations are completed, the final reports, either way, in the three crimes would be submitted to the Court of the learned Magistrate concerned. 5.

Having regard to the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer concerned to expedite the investigation into the afore-stated crime and file a final report,

MSRM, J W.P.No.11416 of 2018 by strict adherence to the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
