HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12958 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in erecting High Tension Towers through the petitioners' land in different survey numbers in Yerrampeta/Rajavaram Village of Koyyalagudem Mandal, West Godavari District.

The petitioners state that they submitted a representation on 30.12.2014 to respondent No. 3 to direct the concerned officials for taking appropriate remedies and measures.

Respondents filed a counter affidavit stating that they are erecting towers as per law, and if any compensation is due and payable to the petitioners, they would pay the same in accordance with law.

In view of the statement made by the respondents in their counter affidavit, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
