The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted an application dated 05.01.2017 in Form-VIA as per Rule 18 and Section 4(1) of the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 to the 2nd respondent for issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.0.30 cents in Sy.No.669/23/6, Ac.0.83 cents in Sy.No.669/23/12, Ac.1.42 cents in Sy.No.699/1, Ac.0.58 cents in Sy.No.720/A/1, Ac.4-00 cents in Sy.No.703 and Ac.0.83 cents in Sy.No.743 situated at Tandur Village and Mandal, Mancherial District. As no action is being taken on the said application, present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

Since the application of the petitioner dated 05.01.2017 is stated to be pending before the 2nd respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
