Manda Ramachandra Reddy v. The State Of Telangana
THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No.3635 OF 2019 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C'), is filed by the petitioner/Accused No.3 for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.214 of 2019 of Saroornagar Police Station, Rachakonda, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 468, 471 and 506 read with 120-B I.P.C.
2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.3, and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State. Perused the record.
3.
The allegation in the complaint would go to show that the petitioner/accused No.3 along with other accused forged the signature of Central Defence Minister to extract money. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused No.3 would submit that the petitioner/accused No.3 is innocent of the offences alleged against him; that even if the entire allegations in the complaint are taken as true and correct, no offence is made out against this petitioner and hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused No.3.
5.
Learned Additional public Prosecutor opposed the grant of the bail to the petitioner/Accused.
6.
As seen from the record, the bail application of accused No.1 was dismissed vide order 21.06.2019 in Crl.P.No.3134 of 2019.
Further, the allegations levelled against the petitioner are grave in nature. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
