THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.13527 of 2019 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: " .... declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the applications dated 07.01.2019 for payment of compensation of Rs.5 lakhs as per GO Ms No.50 General Administration (Ser.A) Department dated 21.02.2014 as arbitrary and illegal and also Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India, consequently direct the respondents to consider the applications dated 07.01.2019 as per the above GO ....."
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. Case of the petitioner is that her husband B.Sailu was killed by Extremists on 31.07.1993 in a bomb blast when her husband and other excise officials were traveling from Gunjedu Musallamma Jathara to Bhupathipet after completing the raids. Police registered a case in F.I.R.No.35/1993 for the offence punishable under Sections 148, 302, 435 read with 149 IPC and Section 25 (1) (b) and 27 of Indian Arms Act and Sections 3 and 5 of TADA Act.
4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the State Government issued G.O.Ms.No.50, General Administration (SC.A) Department, dated 21.10.2014, fixing the financial assistance at Rs.5,00,000/- to the family members of those who lost their lives in the extremists violation.
5. Petitioner made representation to the third respondent on 07.01.2019 requesting to grant benefits as per G.O.Ms.No.50 dated 05.12.2016, but no action was taken thereon.
6. Taking into consideration the nature of controversy, this Court is of the considered opinion that the ends of justice would be met, if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to take appropriate action on the representation, dated 07.01.2019 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein.

For the aforesaid reasons, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the representation dated 07.01.2019 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
