CONTEMPT CASE No.1993 of 2014 ORDER:

By order dated 02.04.2014, this Court passed the interim direction in W.P.M.P.No.14422 of 2014 in W.P.No.11648 of 2013 directing the respondents 1 to 3 therein to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 12.11.2011 by taking into consideration the guidelines issued by the first respondent for recognition of National Sports Federation in particular clause 3.4 of the guidelines before granting renewal to the 4th respondent/the Yatching Association of India.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner placed before Court a letter dated 4th July, 2014, which was communicated to him. Only in para-3 of the said letter, this particular issue was considered and by assigning reasons, request of the petitioner was rejected. Learned counsel for petitioner contends that the decision arrived at by the respondent in said para is not valid and it is contrary to the earlier stand or the mandate of the guidelines.

The direction issued by this Court was to consider the representation by taking into consideration all the concerned guidelines issued. Those guidelines were considered and orders are passed. There is no disobedience of the orders of this Court. The Court cannot go into the validity of the decision taken. The Contempt Case is accordingly closed. However, it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedies as available in law.
