The case of the petitioner is that though he made representations dated 13-10-2015 and 16-05-2016 for conducting enquiry and to delete the wrong entries in the revenue records and to incorporate the name of petitioner in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.2.19 guntas in Sy.No.61; Ac.1.05 guntas in Sy.No.62/A and Ac.1.10 guntas in Sy.No.653 situated at Mulkanur Village, Chigurumamidi Mandal of Karimnagar District, no orders are passed so far, therefore, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader and perused the material available on record.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue submits that unless proper application is made to the competent authority i.e., Tahsildar, no action can be taken. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application made by the petitioner to the 2nd Respondent - District Collector was forwarded to the 4th Respondent - Tahsildar for taking appropriate action.
In view of the facts and circumstances, without expressing
any opinion on merits, it is open for the petitioner to make one more application in proper format as per rules to the 4th Respondent and on such application being made, the 4th Respondent shall dispose of the same in accordance with law after issuing notice to affected parties, if any. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
