Nelluri Vcnkateshwarlu v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.27332 of 2015 ORDER:
The petitioner seeks survey and demarcation, for which he has already made necessary application on 21-07-2014. The Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records, Guntur, has already issued proceedings dated 2508-2014 directing the Mandal Surveyor, Dachepalli to take up survey work by issuing notices to the concerned and submit report along with the original petition. Thereafter, the petitioner filed another representation, dated 23-062015 before the District Collector, Guntur, requesting for early completion of survey and ultimately filed the present writ petition complaining of inaction. Learned Government Pleader has received instructions from the 3rd respondent, which inter alia state that the request of the petitioner is being considered and there is only one Mandal Surveyor in the entire Mandal and he has to cover so many villages within his limits and that the survey could not be completed in view of administrative reasons. It is also stated that he has taken steps to conduct survey on 30-09-2015 and he is seeking police protection.
In view of the said instructions, therefore, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the survey work, expeditiously and submit appropriate report to the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records, Guntur, in response to his proceedings, referred to above.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
