THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 27568 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The petitioner is stated to have submitted a complaint dated 07.12.2015 to the respondent police against the 4th respondent and others, but no action has been taken thereon, is the grievance in this Writ Petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) has placed on record the written instructions obtained from the SubInspector of Police, KPHB Police Station. It is stated therein that on the basis of the complaint of the 4th respondent, a case in Crime No. 353 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 306 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered against the petitioner and his family members. After conducting investigation, a charge sheet has been filed before the Court of the XIX Metropolitan Magistrate at Miyapur and the same is pending trial vide S.C.No. 2006 of 2016 at L.B. Nagar Court. It has been further stated that on verification of the records, the respondent police have not traced any complaint dated 07.12.2015 of the petitioner. In view of the above-said instructions, this Writ Petition is closed. The copy of the written instructions has been taken on record. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
