In this Writ Petition, the only request of the petitioners is to register a crime pursuant to the reports lodged by them, on 03.08.2017 and 09.11.2017, and take suitable action on the said reports in accordance with the procedure established by law.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) appearing for the respondents. I have perused the material record. 3.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that the reports of the petitioners, dated 03.08.2017 and 09.11.2017, were forwarded to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, for taking necessary action and the same was intimated to the petitioners by marking a copy of the forwarding letter to them; that eventually, the reports of the petitioners were forwarded to the Station House Officer, Osmania University Police Station; that on receipt of the said reports, a case in Crime No.115 of 2018 was registered, on 06.04.2018, by the said police officer for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506 r/w 34b of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code; and, that investigation is taken up. 4.
Having regard to the above submissions, and as no further cause survives for adjudication, the writ petition shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
