K.Laxmi v. The Government Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.13584 of 2019 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.20726 of 2010 dated 29.12.2016. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that let the petitioners submit a representation to the respondents seeking regularization in terms of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Secretary, State of Karnataka And Others vs. Umadevi1, then the respondents would consider the same.
This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the parties, is of the considered view that the petitioners shall submit a representation to the respondents seeking regularization and on such representation being made, the respondents shall consider the same in terms of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Umadevi's case (supra), if necessary by examining the requirement to formulate a scheme as directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the aforesaid judgment. Such exercise shall be completed and decision to this extent shall be taken as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 1 (2006) 4 SCC 1
With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
